THE BEANSTALK ACADEMY was founded by Owner and Director, Lisa Lardiere, in 1983. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education, and a Certification to teach Nursery School through eighth grade. She has been teaching in a nursery school setting since 1978.
The Beanstalk Academy provides a full-day and half-day Nursery School for children ages 6 months through Pre-K, as well as a full-day Kindergarten program. The full-day Kindergarten program is an accelerated program with a pre-screening process required before acceptance.

OUR CLASSES
Each class has a DEGREED HEAD TEACHER and a certified Assistant Teacher. Our staff is a group of dedicated professionals who enjoy teaching young children and prioritize their growth and development. Several of the staff members have been with The Beanstalk Academy for over 20 years and or are graduates of THE BEANSTALK ACADEMY themselves.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
THE BEANSTALK ACADEMY’S philosophy is based on a “developmental” approach to learning. Children grow and develop at their own pace and in their own time. Our classes stimulate your child’s curiosity to explore, experiment, and develop an awareness of self and their environment through a wide range of daily planned activities. Routine, structure, respect for others, and a wide range of age-appropriate curriculum concepts are at the heart of our philosophy. We encourage our students to be themselves, think independently, and make positive choices!
